MSG Ticketmaster Presales...

Anyone have any luck? I don't think I could have done anything much faster. I was in the searching for ticket screen before 2:01pm. It says my wait time is approx. 4 minutes to find out. I've never waited this long before. Anyone secure anyting?

    No luck here. My "wait time" has been bouncing between 6 and 15 minutes. I have bought a lot of tickets off ticketmaster's website over the years (and I hate it), never seen this happen before.

    Same. I've never had to wait like this. I've been sitting at under 2 minutes for 5 minutes now.

    Im done with this stuff. I think my 10 club days will be over in September! My number is average and I just cant deal with this crap anymore!!!

    i don't think it's ungrateful for people in a FANCLUB to want to have better seats than in the 300 level section.

    I got them.. I'm in the building. I'm thankful but come on with the 300 level. Maybe at least let's keep it to the half closest to the stage, not at the back.

    You're one hundred percent right. Your membership does entitle you to free front row seats whenever you want them. Anything less is unacceptable.

    I understand the complaint of waiting 6 hours to be told that tickets are gone, but the complaining of today's sale is over the top. I honestly don't know what people were expecting out of a ticketmaster presale.

    it seems everybody has been pulling 300s.

    im sure the general sale (while littered with ALOT more scalpers) will have a bunch of 100 and 200 levels available.

    300 isnt bad AT ALL in the Garden!

    got 340 and 345.

    anyone get below 300? i find it hard to believe that 300 is the "best available."

    Today it wasn't a good day; Iron Maiden had 15+ minutes, so were the Yankees and now Pearl Jam, none sold out, but tickets were not good at all in any of them... a lot of traffic in TM today

    EDIT: PJ now sold out

    That's what I was thinking... I'm 314 Row J. Took about 20min to process after getting in right at 2:00.

    Jesus, i got tickets to 5-20 on the 10c presale. I knew better than to try for 5-21. If you knew the server would crash, and you know they knew it too, why are you so upset when it actually happened? I spent an hour getting tickets, was stressed and worried, but, if you lined up outside the building thats the same feeling you would get, hoping you aren't too far back to get close and be sold out. And when it came through, i was happy. i smiled. i got them, and a lot didn't! Thats what its about. If you expect to get online, click buy, everything is fine, dont you think it would make it that much easier for the people who dont care and want to buy all of them because its so easy and you could make money, dont you get thats what would happen.

    Ive been reading posts for days and days about how they screwed up the presale, so they try and fix it. They gave you a second presale. Who does that? They are doing it for YOU, the pissed off 10c member. Then you actually get a shot at buying any ticket and complain...

    So, if you chose not to buy, but still wish to go, then i totally think you getting screwed and paying 500+ for a ticket is all your fault. If the presale tickets are 80 each, what do you think scalpers will pay? Online ticket places? I paid 340 for a pair of Seattle 09 tickets, because i didn't want the hassle.

    Now, i have paid 170 for 10c tickets for 5-20, and then Ticketmaster presale of 5-21 for 170, bringing the price to 340 for 2 pairs of tickets to MADISON SQUARE GARDEN! Theres a reason these tickets are selling so quick. And no, it not just cause its NY, its because everyone knows what can happen, hence 9-11-98, still one of my fav shows of all time, and ive been to 20 shows (msg will be 21-22) and one of the reasons i began following the band around all over the world.

    So when you try tomorrow, and still get bad tickets, or any tickets at all, don't complain, you did it to yourself, and obviously, these shows are Not For You!
