Ticket Problem - Can't Attend Show

I bought tix for the Bristow, VA show yesterday and today I got a job offer that would move me and my wife to Florida within 30 days. I know the policy is no refunds, sales or exchanges but does anybody know if they would work with me on this? I'd hate for the tickets to go unused. I emailed <!-- e --><a href="mailto:tickets@tenclub.net">tickets@tenclub.net</a><!-- e --> to see if I have any options. I really hope they'll do something for me. Keeping my fingers crossed...

    Without a doubt. The only problem is whether or not Ten Club will allow it.

    unfortunately, You the member has to be the one to pick up the tickets from will call with ID.
    It sucks.... But I would love to get them if I could.

    I have faith that Ten Club will do the right thing. If they don't, I'll have to deal with it since it's my fault. We shall see...

    you're looking to go around their established policies

    so if they make an exception for you... then you'll likely post it here

    then they'll have all kinds of people making requests and saying "well you did it for adam"


    so i do think it will hurt

    but i also am not the 10c

    Don't post if they make an exception for you. If they know people know they may make an exception, they will be less likely to do so.

    Also, if the show is not selling well, they will probably be less likely to make an exception - unlike MSG I would guess.

    I didn't get an exception for Toronto last year, but maybe something is different this year. Good luck.

    They used to allow 10C to transfer to other 10C, as recently as the 2006 tour. That was a great service. I'd imagine it was a bitch to manage and that's why they stopped.

    i couldn't attend a show in 03 and was not allowed to transfer, i just had to eat the cost and be very sad that i couldn't go, lol.

    And in that example, the person with 370xxx would give face value PLUS something else to member 37xxx to get those tickets swapped behind the scenes. I think that was part of the abuse of it as well.

    Personally, I think transfers should be allowed, but they go to the back of the line. That way if member 40xxx cant go and transfers, that person will get the tickets after member 499xxx. You still get TC tix, but you don't get to cut in front of everyone else.

    But its probably a pain, too, so I can see why they wouldnt want to advertise it.

    I definitely can't complain either way. If I can't get a refund do you think they'd let me donate the tickets o charity or something?

    See what their reply is. If they say "no transfers" then ask them if they will at least donate them to a good cause for you, and allow that person to pick up.
