Is there any way to confirm that this is only in regards to MSG? I just want to make sure I'm not missing out on something. I haven't received any emails, and never received a confirmation email for Boston tix.

No that is not a safe assumption.
I am sure the tickets will be worse the the 10c sold tickets - but that is where the assurances stop. Who knows if what TM sells as a presale will be better or worse than what they sell to the public.

According to the data rspina posted about the 2008 shows at MSG, the Ticketmaster presale tickets were significantly better than what went out for the public sale.
Basically, all of the presale tickets were decent/good. There were decent/good tickets in the public sale, but also tons and tons of crappy ones.

I still haven't gotten the email.... I'm way stoked for Virginia but MSG has always been my fav place to see PJ... 3 times there now including the INCREDIBLE 9/11/98 show (that being my first PJ show ever, I know I'm a noob). I'm really hoping to go to both MSGs as well, and was super bummed when I got shut out on Tuesday (along with many others). That happened in 2008 to me as well, but I got in the Ticketmaster presale and had an amazing time both nights. Just hoping to be able to do that again, and worried that I haven't gotten the email while others have.
