Lets talk about how the New York Jets are shaping up

well to say the least i was initially worried about the signing of LT over Jones. Well the other day I was thinking, could they be taking the offense in a new direction? As Smith showed in the championship game he knows how to throw the ball, and LT was fairly successfully in receptions over in San Diego. Now I'm not saying this would be like the Dolphins, but maybe Rex is trying to work with more of a wildcat offense, take a little pressure off Sanchez and let him develop as a QB. With Greene looking like he'll be the feature back this year were going to need some more options because I'm not sure Greene can have the type of season that Jones had, at least right now (I have to see how he does in camp/preseason). What do you guys feel about Edwards? Personally I like him and think he fits well, at least as a deep threat receiver. Our problem in that respect is that we dont really have a playmaker in that position, so I'm kinda hoping that the Jets are giving Brandon Marshall a serious look.

Onto the defense, I think we're going to have another top notch year. Despite what people say about Cromartie I think we have one of the strongest pairs of cornerbacks in the league, and with Cromartie behind Revis there is less pressure for him to be that allstar stopping all receptions. I'm not to worried about losing Rhodes at safety either, we have depth at the position so we should be okay.

okay now lets see how you all feel about your New York Jets, all I want to hear next season is "And thats another New York Jets FIRST DOWN"

there is no way they change the Offense
Sanchez needs to continue to develop , Shone Greene needs to stay healthy , we need a third receiver ,
Give LT 12 -15 touches a game , and get the ball to Dustin Keller more , just keep pounding it

    on defense
it would be nice to have a good edge pass rusher , i would like to see them draft a defensive lineman with their 1st pick in the draft we are getting old on the D-Line

i think we have excellent LB's

and Cromartie will excel in all the man to man Rex plays ,

    we need another safety

    and bring back Jay Feely

im not saying completely change the offense, but just use that play set up a little more, like a 3rd down option they used it last season but smith never threw the ball making it to predictable

Smith ran it pretty well and he did hit that big pass in the playoffs
i think we will see it more because of the success they had with it last year
