What kind of rude joke was that 10 Club?!!! I clicked the "buy" button & I get a new page that says OOPS! " you ripped our face off" try again. Ridiculous :x
but by all means mid-west, please, take your time.
I don't get this. Shouldn't you be happy that MORE PJ fans around the country have an opportunity to see them.
Frankly, I'm happy the Midwest is having such an easy time. That means that for people who rarely see them, they will have GREAT seats.

Anyone can sell out Madison Square Garden when there are 15 million people to buy tickets. I wish there was a tour that skipped the Northeast so we could see how many "superfans" there are in the region that are willing to travel like the midwest contingent.

I did it last summer. Boston to Chicago. Great city, great arena, easy to get tickets with 10c.
But the fans weren't quite as passionate as they seem at Boston shows. To quote Eddie at night 2, "Is anybody out there?"

I actually love this post... although I know a lot of them probably would travel, they'd all complain about how they deserve the shows so much and don't get them.
But to be fair - that NE is population-packed and does sell out well. I guess in the mid-west if its not chicago (and I'd argue Alpine/Milwaukee could sell well too) it probably won't sell out right away.

im from CT, and got shut out of the two MSG presales (got hartford though). i was planning on going to plan B, C, D, etc to get tix for MSG, but then after seeing tix still available for indy and cleveland, i'm pondering the idea of a road trip instead.. hmm..
i'm more a fan of popular bands.. like the bee-gees, pearl jam
I got shut out (again!). After getting shut out of Boston I was disappointed. Tonight, I'm more furious. I've been a member for well over 15 years and never had problem with this system until this week.
I grew more frustrated with every, "out of stock/oops, you ripped our face off" pages. I feel stupid even more after seeing that PJ played a special show for Target management and hob-nobbing at the R&R HOF ceremonies. I can't go to my local independent record store to buy the new album, instead head to go to a "nearby" Target where they seemed not to have it.
Grrr..sorry a lot of venting here. I apologize. I'm just frustrated because I would have spent $150-$171 on a pair of PJ tickets and got shut out.
Have a great time jammers, the shows are amazing and this is the greatest band ever. I will Just Breathe and see the sun rise up tomorrow.

How about not being an asshole to us midwest fans!! I live in Michigan, last year we flew to philly, in 2008 we flew to Florida for 5 days Before that I was at the vote to change concert in GR. I first saw pj in high school when you had to send mail your last four digits to the Detroit free press and a week later they listed your number in the paper. At least now I can drive to a couple a shows, its not our fault Pearl Jam doesn't tour anymore. That's my sore spot. Happy St. Patrick's Day.
