Pre-sale tips that just worked for me!!!

I got two tips during last night's presale that failed me then but just scored me some Virginia tickets that may be helpful.

1) After you click "buy", right click "check out" at the top and open a new tab of it, the tickets may be in the cart even if the page hasn't changed after you pressed "buy". They were for me

2) If you have it, use Google Chrome. Someone said to yesterday and it just worked for me so it's worth a shot.

  • I've been using that "technique" for years. As a matter of fact, I mentioned it in another thread and some bitch jumped down my throat. Apparently she doesn't know the difference between tabs and computers.

Firefox has been my browser of choice for years. I tried Chrome a while back but didn't care for it. We all have our preferences.

see the only trick I've ever had was to go to the secure server. but that right-clicking the checkout button thing is a thing of genius. it's sad that you may be the most die-hard, devoted, Pearl Jam fan in the world....but if you aren't computer savvy, you're not getting tickets.

Whoever posted the SKU 7318 - I love you. We had already purchased plane tickets and needed these Bristow tickets. I went into my cart - searched for 7318 - and it pulled up the tickets and I purchased them. I still do not see them in the goods section. Please everyone who cannot see them - try it....

It's pretty easy to figure out the SKUS, KC was 7312 - MSG 2 was 7322. Everything inbetween has matched up accordingly.

I think the trick is not trying for tickets that 1 million other people are trying for. I just went through the whole process for Bristow in under 10 seconds.

huh...wonder why so many people are having problems checking out....good thing folks aren't skipping steps to get to the checkout quicker, cause that would be REALLY REALLY BAD and cause a bottleneck at checkout. I'm sure I'll be talking to some folks soon about this.

I don't see how it would bottleneck the checkout, wouldn't this actually stagger the checkout process instead of everyone clicking the ticket at the same time, then eventually be checking out at the same time? who knows I guess.

For Buffalo tickets this morning, the direct SKU link didn't go live until they were posted in the ticket section - if they had it live before the sale in previous years that wouldn't be good.
