The only problem with this thread is that there are 14 shows on the tour. Unless they don't play any songs at the Beacon.

you do know that the beacon gig more than likely is NOT consdiered 'part of the tour'....b/c it's a special one-off for charity. besides, while it would be amazing to think of otherside at the beacon :eek:...given who and wht it's for....doubt there will be that many rarities, altho who knows?

Maybe - but I'm pretty sure Portland which was a benefit in 2006 was considered part of the tour because they were listed on the tour shirts so I don't see why the Beacon wouldn't be considered part of the tour. But no point nit picking.
I'm just glad I got a pair of tickets to it. Though I did feel weird calling up Robin Hood to order a pair while on vacation in Hawaii.

back on topic tho...truly...it would be awesome if every show got their very own unique opener! i am truly looking forward to a bunch of rarities at each show now.....fantastic!
We still have the Interstellar/Corduroy combo, Breakerfall(popular on 02 tour), Release, Of the Girl, Long Road, Wash, and Severed Hand. That's 7 with 9 shows left. I'm sure they can squeeze in 2 others.
I really hope they save Release for Mansfield, but I'd be willing to bet MSG gets it.
Release is nothing special, they play it all the time!
Hope MSG gets release and a wierd opener, like Alive or RVM, would just set the place off, would be toooo crazy
That is what second songs are for, to set the place off. It's that slow song that, that generally can only be heard as an opener, that builds the excitment for the second song. PJ shouldn't mess with a winning formula!
