what parts does Stone play in Pj songs. I dont kow much about music, i know if i like it or dont like it, but what definitive riffs does he play? i know he does DTE, black, daughter, Aliveetc but i wanna try and clear up in my mind what Mike plays and what Stone plays. I know most of the solos in a song are Mike, I guess i am talking about intros, outros and anything in between.

Thanks and Merry XMAS

I know he solos in Not For You and Tremor Christ, not sure what else.
  • Solo on Do The Evolution and Save You.

Bass on Smile, No Way, and Do The Evolution

You think the Slayer tour is out, or what?

he is mostly rythm guitars. He comes up with most riffs, and I think he has a big part in arranging the songs. ALthough I would love to hear more of his angelic voice

The best way to figure that out is to watch some DVDs. The other thing is if you have good headphones you can usually tell: guitar from the left is from Mike, guitar from the right side is Stone's :)

When listening to the CDs: left channel (speaker) is Mike, right channel is Stone.

indeed, sort of like you're looking at the stage

  • chances are if its an awesome riff (except for dissident) then its stoney... my favorite of which is sad... you can usually tell his solos too cause theyre just really fundamentally sound and more neil young-esque... whereas mike is all about the speed and whammy and hednrix-ness

He plays bass on the studio versions of all three of those songs.

That only works on the live shows though. It's different sometimes on their studio CD's.
