Did anyone else find the site to be BRUTAL when trying to get tickets for the two New York shows? I would click "buy" and would not be able to get tickets in my cart or would get them IN my cart and couldn't finish the transaction! Very disappointed.

i had the same issues. Got the first set in my cart and it took me up to 45 minutes to finally check out. The site would crap out but the tickets remained in my cart. I was unable to obtain tickets for night 2 even though I started trying on time. Bummer!

You just had to keep going and had to be very patient. It failed for me about 100+ times when they were in my cart/while I was in checkout. You just had to keep going. If you gave up, it's pretty much your fault. That's what happens when 200,000+ people are going for 12,000 seats. SLOWNESS!!

I had the same issues from 6-8:15
I finally got to the Credit Card screen at 8:15 and then had to check my order history to see that I did get a pair. There has to be a better way.
Just happy I got lucky! Hartford today!

There are New York shows? Where'd you hear about those? Couldn't have been from the Pit here, that's for sure.

Pearl Jam's server is a piece of crap. Furthermore, they know that when they play MSG there are about 6,000 members that want tickets, yet they have no power to secure more than 2,000 seats. They've totally sold out to Corporate America. If they really cared about fans they would 1) find a way to secure more tickets for 10-club members for MSG shows, or 2) play a different venue where they can secure more tix for fan club members.

Pearl Jam used to roll out the red carpet for fan club members. Not any more, they've changed a lot over the years.

And don't even get me started on ticket prices.

You're correct with the "server is a piece of crap" part.
Of course, not everyone trying will get tickets.
I would rather see "sold out" within an hour or so. Rather than the website malfunctioning issues.

I hit refresh from 3-6pm. Checked the cart a few times... nothin. I saw the "buy" button once or twice, but it crahsed every time. Once 6pm rolled around, my eyes were buggin out of my head and I had to get to band practice. I gave up, but dont give a shit. It was annoying, but if it's outta my control, I can't let it get to me. I've seem them before, and i'm sure i'll see them again. I knew MSG would be a nightmare.

when they do secure more tix for 10c, then 10c members get worse seats and we have a whole new set of posts bitching. look at the august 09 chicago shows- a ton of tix for 10c and shitty seats for all (300xxx and 400xxx in the 600 level) ticketmaster had lower level seats available day of show.
10c can't win no matter which way they do it. i would rather them keep w/ a minimal amount of tix so that you are assured good seats if you actually get 10c tix.

I didnt realize there were that many asshole PJ fans out there. I guess if I lived in KC I wouldnt worry about getting tickets and be frustrated after hitting refresh 300 times and clicking "buy" and dealing with a 1996 website that PJ apparently still uses.
  • I had them in my car, could not check out disappeared after 2 hours.
