It's really not far from NYC to Indianapolis

If you left at 6am the day of the show you'd get into the city by 4pm non stop. Alternate drivers.
I guess to Columbus it would be even shorter.

You could even depart Long Island airport at 10 AM, which isn't bad. Waking up butt-ass early the day after the show would suck, but you could always sleep on the plane.
You could leave La Guardia at 7:25 AM for $62. Returning to La G on Saturday would be expensive (over $150) but maybe you could go back to Long Island.
Air Tran and Delta have several round-trip options starting at $139.
If you played your cards right, you could even stop in Columbus on the way out. Hell, stop in Cleveland on the way back if you're really super-rich!
Yeah, it's about 3 hours between Columbus and Indy. It's a straight shot to the west.
so 9 hours from NYC to Columbus and tix still available. Leave NYC at 7am and get to Columbus 3:30 or 4ish.
