Public Transportation to XL Center in CT from NYC?

Does anyone know how get to the XL Center venue in Connecticut from NYC using Public transportation?

    I was wondering the same thing, Id like to take something from NYC to CT for the show and then get back afterwards

    Amtrak. You either change in New Haven or spend a little more money to go directly to Hartford. Barring delays, the trip on the train is roughly 2-2 1/2 hours from Penn Station.
