Sad NYC Fan

Once again, I had to travel the day of NYC's pre-sale and was squeezed out. This is so frustrating. SNL tickets were easier to get. I'm glad I have Jazzfest to look forward to but would have waited to book that trip so I could route my way to KC on the return.

I have lived all over the country and seen PJ in may markets. NYC is by far the hardest market to see them in, especially when the shows are over a weekend. I feel like the entire east cost attends.

Anyone know when the public on-sale is? I must remember to bring my binoculars this time

You should consider yourself lucky. The unfortunate were tied up for 7 plus hours chasing the odd BUY symbol only then to suddenly be greeted by the the "you just ripped our face off or something to that effect picture" and a continual "temporarily out of stock". I can certainly live with not having been lucky enough(smart enough maybe?) to get tickets but why can't the bad news come within say 30-45 minutes of the presale start time? We had some fantastic 10c experiences last fall on the West Coast which I'll never forget and I think it's great that the band make a huge effort to put their true fans in the seats closest to the stage but please just wrap the presale up quickly.

My friend was keeping me posted on the nightmarish experience yesterday with the pre-sale (ripped off face screen, etc) and I was hoping to pass a Starbucks on my drive so I could pull over and try myself. Once I got to my destination, the pre-sale was still going on but my computer wasn't even showing the 2nd NYC show.

I will be at the shows one way or the other but just disappointed that I will likely be in the back of the arena (as I have been when I have not gotten pre-sale tix in the past).

I used to live on the west coast and never had these problems but maybe the pre-sale was handled different. I don't really remember. I know that for the tour in the fall, my old roommate had no problem getting tickets for all 4 LA shows thru 10C. NY seems much tougher.

I say a good solution is to add more NYC dates! I can't deal with going to Hartford (again) or Boston. Hartford last time was a scary crowd in the 10C line (no offense). I ended up getting out of line because of the brewing tension. Haha. Am I being dramatic?

I should change this thread to HAPPY PJ FAN! Got tickets to Newark in 3 minutes today. Now I just hope my flight back to NYC lands on time that day so I can make the show. See you in Nola PJ! Thank you 10c.
