    i put in a lottery request for 6 shows, just about the same amount as 3 pairs of 10C tix. ;)


    for real tho, those are some great dates. phish fucks texas too, just like pj and instead saturate the NE, gotta love it. :lol:

    Not a Phish fan but I respect the fact that they tour the entire US more or less and they announce full-tours at once. Plus the tickets are only $50, buying fan club tickets don't require you to be a paying member and they are random.

    All good points. I just went to get a ticket for Berkley. There is a $5.00 service fee, and I think the cheapest shipping option was around $10-$15 bucks.

    So all in all the total was going to be around $65-$70.

    Your point is still valid, but they do get you a bit on the shipping and 'handling'.

    EDIT:

    Just went back to the site. The service fee is $5.40, and the cheapest US shipping service is $10.00.

    So the total is $65.40.

    A question for those of you who talk about how much Phish blows... have you seen a show? Because I was of the same opinion until friends dragged me to a show. I went strictly to prove them wrong, and stubborn as I am, couldn't hate them no matter how hard I tried. And for who ever just mentioned Ghost from Albany two... that was absolutely surreal. Better than anything Pearl Jam could ever provide for me.

    Why doesn't anyone want to come to or around Pittsburgh? First Pearl Jam skips the city (though it seems like they may have tried to book a show), and now Phish isn't even coming to Star Lake this year. Guess I'll have to go to Cuyahoga Falls to see them at Blossom this year.

    no. My friend used to play Phish non stop, tons of live shit. Were some of the songs good? Sure. But some were so annoying, The Tires on the Road, David Bowie, etc... (I don't remember exactly what the names were). I'd rather listen to nails on a chalkboard. I'm serious. Nails. On. A. Chalkboard. That's my opinion. My opinion is that Phish blows.

    Believe me.. once you see it live, you can appreciate it in a way that even the best bootleg couldn't come close to doing justice.
