i didn't get tickets either it's bullshit i saw that fuckin buy button come up about 100 times and either got my face ripped off or it wouldn't connect what a bunch of shit that you can access the buttons and click on them for two hours and not get anything and none of the other ticket sites have the boston show listed so i'm not sure which one to use this really blows
This Boston presale sure was a weird experience. I plan to try for MSG 2 this evening and I was following the Boston updates to see how things went. Very weird things with this sale!! Can't believe it was up for 2 hours before saying: OUT OF STOCK. Can't believe people got the "BUY" button repeatedly only to be turned away by the "ripped our face off" thing.
Very sorry to those who refreshed and wasted 2 hours of their day trying to get through, getting ever-so-close, and ultimately failing to land a pair :(
i'm just glad that there are people out there that are as pissed off as i am about the shitty way they sold these tickets and people getting kicked off
They should really think about working with a 3rd party, even Ticketmaster, for these pre-sales. I'm sure they could set it up to use your 10c number as the promo code or something.
There has to be a better way than the current system.

Well... since I believe the ROOT of the problem is that TM has a lock on selling a venue's tickets, with the exception of about 10% which goes to TC... why not have TC have the presale thru TM, with unique passwords. Then, you'll have 100% of the venue TC members. And if any are left after the presale, put them on a general on sale at a later date.
I don't see why they can't do this.

I hear ya guys, craziness!.....I got thru and got tickets but it seemed like a magic show that it happened! Hit the "buy" button numerous times, kept kicking me out and on a whim, went into the cart and saw them sitting there.....it never physically sent me there after supposedly getting thru so it was luck that I actually took a chance to check my cart......nuts, hope you guys get some for the other shows!
How many were on here? I'm guess-timating that thers ONLY 150 on here now(NOT counting guest). Even if thers double that(300), thats ONLY 600 TOTAL tickets. Unless the numbers i see on here are off(and i'm not sure i'm right), that doesn't make sense, to me anyway, that so many were SHUT-OUT gettting tickets. Unless the 10 Club ONLY got FEW hundred for Boston?

It's usually 10-15% of the venue's capacity so probably around 2000-3000 tickets I'd guess?

10% to 20% is what TC told me in 2006.

I was actually watching the registered count at the time of the sale on the main home page of the board. Course that was a few hours ago, but if I recall correctly it was around 530 registered users were online. At about 10 after, that number dropped to about 420 or something like that.

the list of who's online at the bottom of the forum pages doesn't say anything about who is signed onto the goods page... does it? all it says is who is browsing the forums.

Even after trying for 2 hours I thought I would still get through... until I saw 'sold out'
I tried and tried and saw 'temporarily out of stock' probably over 300 times..

Hmm.. Very good observation. It would seem odd that the count I was watching skyrocketed at sale time if it wasn't just a count of people logged in. Know what I mean? That would imply a spike in people browsing the forums at sale time vs. being in the goods section. I just looked at it again and above the count, it does say "Who is in the Ten Club Community forum".

hehehe... i have no clue if i'm right about that, i was just going by what i see on the screen. the spike could be people coming to the forums to see if it seemed like people were fairly pleased about ticket processes or not, who knows?

I've been saying that for at least 3 or 4 years.
