May you always have work for your hands to do.
May your pockets hold always a coin or two.
May the sun shine bright on your windowpane.
May the rainbow be certain to follow each rain.
May the hand of a friend always be near you.
And may God fill your heart with gladness to cheer you.

Happy St Paddys all my fellow Irish Pearl Jam fans !

And a Happy St. Paddy's Day to all ye lasses and laddies.

I made my corned beef and cabbage last night, so all I have to do is heat it up and eat it as soon as I get home.

I'm Irish, but don't care for the food. Only thing Irish I like are those Irish potatoes. Don't even care for the Shamrock shakes (don't care for mint flavored stuff).

Anyway celebrating I'll be at a bar watching cKy in WC, PA

I just got home from the bar. We have a cool Irish pub here called Doyle's Public House. Always has a huge bash for St. Patrick's Day. Bag pipes and drums, plus an Irish band playing good music. LOTS of Guinness flowing and maybe an Irish Car Bomb or two. The place was PACKED! Good times to be had BY ALL!!

Happy St. Patrick's Day fellow Ten Clubbers!!!

Outside of Ireland and the UK, Guinness is bloody nasty. Never gonna get a pint of the black gold anywhere else, anymore.

I agree, Hinn. I don't like it at all, but I saw the way it was poured in Seattle and I was horrified! Everything in America tastes different though

I did feck all last night as I was in work this morning. I did go up to Belfast though, and it was lovely to see everyone dressed up and have facepaint, wigs, outfits... the WORKS! Great stuff, very proud!

Not sure I agree. In Canada the Guinness Draught that you get in cans with the widget is pretty good. The Guinness Extra Stout that is brewed by Labatt in Canada is pretty bad though. But the Guinness Foreign Extra Stout that they sell in the Caribbean and is 7.5% is awesome.

No wonder I think that stuff is vile. I guess I will have to have a proper glass over the pond some time before I die!!!

And me mum (WTH ??) had me over for corned beef and cabbage last night. Was good. No green beer though---she only had Seagrams VO.
So I'll just lie down and wait for the dream

I've had some from the Guinness Storehouse, and I still think it's vile  I think it's something that has an acquired taste!

Well sure. It's the other, other white meat. I developed a taste for it after my soccer team crashed our plane in the Andes this one time. It was fun, like summer camp, except colder. I ate well though. Some of the others got a little thin. Not sure what their problem was...

Guinness in a can? My head is spinning.

I've tried Guinness in a couple of bars in Vancouver, and also at Toronto-Pearson.

It's one thing for foreign breweries not to match where the stuff has come from, but please, if a pub is going to make the stuff on tap, at least make the effort to teach the staff how to pull one properly. Doing it as though you're pouring a typical lager is just plain wrong.
