When my father-in-law died about four years ago, we played "Man of the Hour" at his funeral. It still makes me cry.

Ohhhh. Just listening to Come Back again (Immagine in Cornice). I am going to have to add that to my list along with All Things Must Pass (George Harrison)
Ain't it funny when things change so much, it's all state of mind?
Yellow Ledbetter (You always have to close it out with 'Ledbetter)
true that
Which show was it where Ed said that Mike had to end the show with this song or he might kill someone? And then Ed suggested Mike "start with that guy"....
Current topic in my mind as I was just thinking of this last week.
My cousin passed 2 weeks ago. He was 42 years old and had a massive heart attack.
His service was at a funeral home and he had a Christian Rock Band that he enjoyed play almost a mini concert. In closing the last song played was the original recording of Ozzy's Cray Train.
I'm a pantheist so being stuck in the bible belt was a little uncomfortable for me but hearing songs that were of importance to his life did bring a smile to my face and it triggered some great memories. With that being said on the drive home I thought about "my tribute" play list.
I want it to be a chronological experience of my life.
Born, lived, suffered, healed, accepted, relaxed, reflected.
Hard 2 Imagine and Just Breathe are there for certain.

BUT....what I want played is Jeff Buckleys "Satisfied Mind". Unbelievable!
but
non-PJ I would pick Ben Harper's There will be a light
They say every sin is deadly but I believe they may be wrong...I'm guilty of all seven and I don't feel too bad at all
In all seriousness...I will have to think on it....

But at some point, since my plan is to be cremated with my ashes sprinkled in the harbor, I want Van Morrison's "Into the Mystic" as well.
I thought Man of the Hour too, but whatever we choose, the funeral must end with mourners leaving to Yellow Ledbetter, am I right?
