has anyone seen this film? i watched it last night online from netflix.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oQprzUwDdTI

it covers the evacuations of settlers from the gaza strip and somewhat follows 6 Israeli's in their 20's, 1/2 thinking it should happen, the other 3 not. while it follows them you never really feel any of them or the main focus, some you see for maybe 10-15 minutes the entire film.

it's interesting to see the settlers scream about how long they've lived there and how wrong it is to force someone to leave their home while they support taking land from someone else...as long as it's not from them, i guess. 1 settler says there would be nothing wrong with forcing all the arabs from the land because their god gave the land to them.

sadly, the film ends saying most of the people removed from the gaza strip were simply relocated to another (illegal) settlement in the west bank.

in fact, it's the settlement i posted about here

don't compete; coexist

what are you but my reflection? who am i to judge or strike you down?

"I will promise you this, that if we have not gotten our troops out by the time I am president, it is the first thing I will do. I will get our troops home. We will bring an end to this war. You can take that to the bank." - Barack Obama

when you told me 'if you can't beat 'em, join 'em'
i was thinkin 'death before dishonor'
