how does the lottery work

this is my first time trying to purchasing tix through tc..i know its going to be tough is an odds are especially slim winning the lottery but i was curious ot know how it worked for each show

when are you notified?..how many people win per show?

    when you get to the window... you look at your tickets and find out

    when you enter the arena with your 10c tickets, you draw a chip out of a hat. if it says Lukin, you get front row, Jeremy gets you second, Crazy mary gets you 9th, and guitar johnny gets you 10th. Sadly, if you pull Dirty Frank you will have to sit with the rats.

    You'll find out when you open your 10club envelope @ the 10club booth. Row 1 & 2 & 9 & 10 are the lottery seats. Each row are in pair's. So just do the math per show & how many seat's are in the GA section. Chances on winning? Can't really say. I'm 0-16 since the lottery jam started back in '08. I've seen & heard fan's who just signed up last year or so that scored the lottery. Guess it's luck. I don't gamble & don't believe in it. Might be why I never won a single lottery during those show's. :|

    I met this chick in La or SD that won the lottery 3 times last tour. Despite what the theory of once a tour, she had witnesses.

    I was lucky enough to win in Camden 08, night two.

    My theory for the lottery:

    Approx 40 seats per row X 4 lottery rows = 160 seats.
    160 seats / 2 tickets per 10c member = 80 10c lottery winners.
    Approx 2000 10c tickets per show (10% of 20k venue) / 2 tickets per 10c member = 1000 10c members per show.

    80 lottery winners / 1000 10c members = 8% chance of winning.


    Obviously this varies depending on the venue (how many seats per row, how many 10c seats they allow, etc). I'd say it's a pretty good reference point though.

    I've been to around 50 shows and had good seats twice. Once for an EV solo show I got 7th row and Mansfield 03 the last show I got probably 15th row. One of these days I'll hit the lotto.

    In 2009? Her very own 10club number she won 3 times or won one/two & used her friends 10club ticket's who scored the lottery for the other 2/3 show's? If so, she's the almighty home run queen of the lottery circuit!

    It's REAL.....Last year Chicago 1, I won the lottery in Row 9....the next day my friend won Row 2, and we swapped my tickets...So...I sat row 9 the 1st night, and row 2 the second night.

    Anyone at the 2nd Chicago show? Do you recall the wig that Ed put on during the encore? That was my buddy Mike's wig....Ed gave him a tamborine for the wig. Classic moment!!!!!!!

    Me and my buddy whose also on the board won the lottery for Philly night 3, which in my opinion was the best night. I could not have been luckier or happier. I've been in the 10c since 06, so it seems pretty random to me.
