Did Bad Radio ever tour?

I was talking with some friends, thinking back to my college days and remembered seeing a band at a local club in 1989 or 1990 (possibly opening for someone). As I recall the lead singer was pretty cute with long brown hair...he kept twirling around the mic...and kept hitting things with it. I remember this because my friends and I commented on what a dork this guy was and the fact that he was no Roger Daltry. Does anyone know if this might have been Bad Radio? Did they tour outside of SoCal? if so...did they ever make it to the Regency Showcase in lil' Springfield Mo?
