Huge spike from SNL appearance - ITunes top 100 albums
We all knew that there would be some kind of spike on ITunes from this appearance but Backspacer ascended all the way up to #11 on the Itunes global chart after last nights appearance.
It's success has definitely proved me wrong...with the Target/Itunes/Indie record stores distribution model, I would have thought reaching 400k - 450k in a couple of years would be a huge success. It seems that it has already broke that total less than six months after release.
