Ed looks younger

watching performance fom SNL made me and my girlfirend think that Ed looks younger, like in 2006 era! he looks better than in 2008/2009. maybe he had some facelifting? :D is this possible or was the video low quality? :lol:

    I am glad I wasn't the only one who noticed this!!!! He seems to be in great shape and I ready to Rock Europe and the states....he also sounded pretty darn awesome!!!!

    the beard's a bit shorter I think, maybe that made the differnce... but either way he looked GREAT :D

    He looks a millions times better than he did on the Tonight Show with Connan O'brien last year, his hair looks healthy and his skin and face look less weathered/aged. He definitely looked much better than he has in probably 5-6 years. I just wish he would shave that beard already.

    Ed looked fantastic, like fine wine - gets better with age. The rest of the band looked good also. Everyone seems to be taking care of themselves. They did a great job on SNL.

    Any idea is SNL gets put up on net at all? We don't get it here in New Zealand & I SO much want to see it!!! There's not that much recent stuff available on DVD & only snippets on utube of course. I'd love to see a current full length thing. TIA.

    Yeah he had put on a few recently, and I think he did take off a little pudge and he looked a lot younger. I doubt he had work done. If he's letting his hair get gray and scraggly, why would he have a face lift or something? But still, that guy is going to look awesome at any age (or weight). He's just absurdly beautiful.

    My wife and I watched the video and also noticed Ed has lost some weight and looks much better than last year :) I guess he had some good rest after the tour and maybe quit smoking and drinking ;)

    Boy its tough to be a celeb- under a microscope all the time. All of us have periods when we look like hell for whatever reason. Years when we gain a little or have hard times. I don't think he looks younger he looks happier to me. As we age we get more at peace with things and its easier to be happy. I think they are all just beautiful cause you can see what beautiful people they are on the inside.

    No kidding...!!! Funny, I was just wishing for a few minutes that I had followed my dream of being an actress....and reality put me back in place. whew... I'm really happy!!

    The guys all looked great and happy as well as healthy!! So glad they all are still around and kicking!!!

    If you read the spin article around the release of Backspacer almost every sentence begins with Ed handing the writer a beer. In your 40s that many many beers add to you. My theory is Ed spent some family time in Hawaii after the tour, surfing and swimming all day will get you back into shape.

    They looked good and sounded good. Ready for this tour.

    haha yeah I thought of that too! In your 40s, hell, for me it started after 25! I had a few friday night and I think I've gone up a jeans size just from that!

    Yes! I think Ed looks great. Maybe he's introduced meat into his diet? Or maybe he upgraded from vegan to vegetarian...
    Either way, you can see the muscle tone.

    I wold bet money Ed has had some work done, both to his face and hair.

    Nothing wrong with it. I think Jeff has had work done too. Jude Law? Did something to his hair, and not just rogaine. Most celebrities do.

    the shorter beard definitely takes years off his face. he looks lovely. and he's clearly lost weight. though he also looked lovely last year in november. infact, he's kinda just a nice lookin' chap all the time. yeah. go ed. whoo. etc.

    jeff bridges is old.

    therefore, less like jeff bridges = younger looking edward vedder.
