why did they make him turn his shirt inside-out?
probably a sponsorship conflict of interest ?
For the ones who had a notion, a notion deep inside

yea I have a few shirts just like that... I don't think it was inside out, just the way it looks.
And I have to admit, eddie has sort of always been a fashion icon to me. I mean he's just so cool...
    Chicks dig eddie
Further back and forth a wave will break on me, today...

I agree, it looked like the front of the shirt had silk-screening.

If NBC "censored" his shirt, what's the harm in us discussing it? I, for one, am curious. And, I know people here on the board will be able to identify the shirt in question.

I wondered if it was meant to be an inside out shirt as well...but then realized it was inside out....wonder what his shirt said?

Yeah I don't think people typically care about clothes but given the history of Ed's t-shirt statements on SNL (http://www.twofeetthick.com/2006/05/sat ... live-1992/ and http://www.twofeetthick.com/2006/05/sat ... live-1994/) and the notion that NBC now potentially censored his shirt makes for a good topic, clothes or not.

I remember watching the '92 show and thinking, "wow! a "no Bush" statement".

I seriously doubt that the shirt was reversed due to censors at NBC. The opening skit had a scene with a US Senator blowing one of his congressional aides, so I'm pretty sure it had to be something other than censorship.

It was inside out, probably by Ed's choice or lack of really caring...

More importantly, what was the mouse hand puppet Stone at the show closing?
