Infiniti G37 6MT Sedan - blue slate 6 speed manual

Should have it in about 3 weeks. So excited!!!

Anybody have one of these? I was comparing to BMW 328/335, Acura TL & Cadillac CTS (V6 manual options). Anybody have any opinions?

Thanks!

It sure is. Need a sedan to fit the family and I'm not a Camry-type person.

This was totally my first car!!! That thing was a fucking tank. I could cause thousands of $ worth of damage on other vehicles and barely even scratch the paint on that bitch!

I was also born in '84.
    It was soooo sad.

I have an 08 G37 coupe that I've had for a couple of years. I love it! I drove several cars before I bought it and, in the price range, the bmw 335 and G37 were miles above the rest. Its so much fun to drive and handles amazingly. I've never driven an Acura but the Infiniti and BMW handles and drives better than a Cadillac. I think you made a good choice;). I had a few friends with 335s so I wanted something a little different and went with the infiniti. Here are my only couple of downsides to it.
There is NO room but you're getting the sedan so it should be ok.
I go through tires like socks......and they're not cheap.

Enjoy your new car! You worked hard, you earned it :)

Oh, and the rest of you, stay the fuck out of my way when I'm on the road. Brand new Toyota Tundra. It is huge and sometimes just takes off by itself for no reason. I paid over 40 k for a screaming pimped out death trap. Sweet! When I go out, it's gonna be huge!!!

Seriously! I'm very close to paying off my car. It's a 2003 Honda Civic.

I got a killer deal on it 2 years ago, and it's been the most amazing car ever. Not one major problem since I've had it. I've put 80,000 miles on it...drove it across the country twice. To Idaho, to Washington, all over Utah...love my Civic.

Hmmmm, well maybe I could use your questionable mental state to knock a few people off plus you have amazing taste in music....I might consider a trial basis.

    Thats a nice car man.

I have a 2007 TL and I love it. Only complaint is the lack of AWD. Test drove the "new" TLs and I dont like the ride as much as my 07
they have taken some of the sport out and made it more of a luxury car-the ride is now softer and the car has a longer wheelbase

Whoa - I lost track of my thread.

I heard good things about Audis, but I used to have a VW New Beetle that was such a piece of garbage, so I couldn't bring myself to buy anything from that company. I don't think these companies should expect to give you a piece of garbage and then later in life have you come back and buy one of their upmarket cars.

I wanted to look at Caddy's, but had some trouble finding a manual CTS to test drive. It sounds like a great car, but it's really not my style. The G is a more, I guess, elegant style, vs. the in-your-face Caddy.

The BMW 328 was a beautiful ride. It just seems like you get more for your $$ with the G. The G really does handle just as well too. The guy at BMW seemed miffed that I could possibly test drive a BMW and still want the Infiniti instead.

I also had trouble finding a manual TL - they just started making them. They seem to come loaded with options that I don't want to pay for (like nav systems). I've had an RSX for 9 years and loved it, but the TL doesn't seem to fit me.

Yes, car payments suck, but I'm ready for it.

Vw beetles are made in Mexico and are pieces of crap. Any other VW is good and better quality than anything in it's class. (Honda, Toyota, ford, chevy, etc)
