I know this is a longshot, but does anyone by any chance have a couple of spare tickets for SNL tonight?

A buddy just called me and said he was gonna be in NY tonight and was wondering how to get them. I figured I'd ask in here, even though it's highly improbable to score any. Doesn't hurt to ask though :)

Thanks

I have a friend that was waiting in line over night and she is very doubtful that she will even get in

she's hardcore! she's hardcore! It's probably very rainy out right now too.

But you should get over to the studios right now if you have any shot. I remember going to Baltimore with college friends one time for a Red Sox game and the game was sold out. There were hundreds of people in line in front of the stadium trying to find tickets. I went around the back of Camden Yards and they literally just released a bunch of bleacher tickets, which of course were like $12 back then. I bought a bunch and ran to my friends. The lesson is it's all about timing and being at the right place at the right time. Go down there and see what happens.

    heres an ironic twist

NBC having tryouts for the biggest loser show within the same timeframe , there will be 2 Lines of people trying to jam into 30 Rock to audition for the Biggest Loser or to see Pearl Jam on SNL.

Hats off to all the diehards who are out there in this rain and wind to hopefully get into this show. Thats dedication, from obviously the faithful.

that's ridiculous. At least w/music it's a live experience to take in. And maybe she's a fan of the show, so I get that. But Jude Law? He's not even a comic. I could see if Robin Williams was doing the show, there's a lot to take in. But that Blimey Limey aint that funny! :P

my friend who I go to all the PJ shows got them.. i guess his wife's friend works there as an assistant something or other, I really am not sure. She knows my friend is a huge PJ fan and I guess thought of him when she found out she had extras. 2 for the show, 2 for the party. I really dont know what to expect.

It is just weird finding out the day of. When they did storytellers and everyone had to write two sentences to get tix, he got a call the day before the taping (which was a few days after the winners were notified) from someone at the tenclub saying he never confirmed that he was attending. I guess the winner notification got lost somehow. So he called me the day before telling me that we were going. Now this ! Crazy !
