    Why is this a good idea? It will just be a waste of stage time and there will only be a handful of people getting any pleasure out of it. And I am not sure that includes the band

    I can sign it as long as it doesnt happen on any of my shows :)

    if i was ed i would make it comical. wheel in a desk with a typewriter before an encore so that the people who want to hear it just to say they heard it can have it and those who don't care can go grab a beer or something. he can talk about what made him put it in the album and discuss what made him have writers block; it could end up being a nice moment.
