Rumor: Soundgarden working on a new album?

I was hesitant to post this, but seeing that two separate guys on Twitter who do not know each other posted it I thought there could be some merit to it. Also with Cornell being spotted in Seattle, it's possible. It would make a hell of a lot of sense, with how quiet everything has been. Let's hope these Twitterers have good sources!

    forgot to mention that in the email, there is a link to a live track of spoonman from del mar, CA 1996. what's odd is in the info of the song in itunes is this...

    damn.. don't mean to be trolling this post... but i just downloaded the spoonman song that i mentioned above and for whatever reason, there cover of Come Together played next and i guess i never really listened to it. check it out!

    It would be great if they released a new album, in the meantime the tour they'll do will be a small gift to what is waiting to us.

    yeah their cover is so heavy. check out the bittorrent "soundgarden b-sides." it's got a bunch of covers: rolling stones, black sabbath, the doors, etc., as well as some acoustic versions of their songs (like suicide anyone???).
