Just curious on about how many fanclub tickets are sold for each show? was lucky enough for Philly 1,2 Columbus might not be as tough as Philly but its been a long time since they played Columbus.

I believe the TC gets about 12% of the venue's seats to sell on their own, except for arrangements for special shows.
ADD 5,200 to the post count you see, thank you. :)

Tough to tell. Depends on a number of different things I'm not 100% about. Such things as agreements the 10c has with Ticketmaster and total capacity for each venue come into play. If I had to guess on average, I'd say 25% of the tickets will be 10c...

The Hoff knows way more about this shit than I do.

    From my inquiry in 2006:

"10-20 percent of venue capacity, depending on the show.

    Thanks

If you log in and get tickets right when they go on sale to 10C members, roughly how close will you get?

Your tickets depend on the numbers of the others who have tickets, not how fast you click buy.

    2008- Boston I+II
    2009- Toronto, Philly III+IV
    2010- Bristow, Hartford, Boston, Newark

I was always under the impression it was 20%. 10-20% sounds about right, with the exception of special arrangements like CJ mentioned. Why did Chicago 1 last year seem to have 80%? I got stuck in the 300 level...

More thoroughly, you may be the first to click "buy", but if you have the worst 10C number of all those in attendance, you will have the worst 10C seats (not counting 1,2,9 and 10 row which are random lottery). But to answer your question, 10C usually has the best seats in the house, so I would say a good 95% of the people at the show with better seats that you are 10C.

It was probably a special arrangement.

TM has a lock on venues, that tickets need to be sold thru them, so they get their cut. Now with LiveNation and TM merging, that may possibly give the band more leverage... or not. :)

I can't wait until bands can just sell their own tickets to whatever show they want, on their own. Oh well.
