What a great song. One of my favourites

"And if hope could grow from dirt like me. It can be done."

One of my all time favourite Pearl Jam lines. One of those lines where (for me) I'm like, fuck yeah, I hear ya.

A few years ago I was stuck in a dead-end, going nowhere fast, now I'm a third of the way to being a teacher. After realising I was better than the cyclical bullshit I was in.

Last year before Sydney, I was hoping they played this. When they did, simply awesome,

Seen it played twice live and for a B-side, simply astonishing

I have loved this song from the first time I ever heard it. . . actually probably my favorite of the Riot Act sessions period.

My girlfriend has actually been a bit addicted to this song lately and played it during an open mic night a few weeks ago 8-)

I absolutely love Down, always have. When they started to play it in Sydney, I was beaming from ear to ear, especially having travelled all the way from South Africa to see the best band in the world!

PS: I also really like Sad from Lost

I feel you brother. You see my tag line right? Story of my life.
    Truly underrated - this song.

And thanks again Vedder_soup for ACL :D

Shit, I guess you don't see my tag line. WTF?

I just wrote a letter to my congressman about the health care reform bill, and in it I said that one of my favorite songs has a lyric that says "You can’t be neutral on a moving train.”

    Love this song!
