Is Trent Reznor the Jim Morrison of the 90'?

Just read some articles, he has been likened to Jim Morrison of the 90's or the shaman of the 90's, with his dark brooding persona.

Thoughts?

    I'd say Scott Weiland circa STP 2008 Reunion Tour is quite comparable to Jim Morrison 1969/1970, proof here:

    Only that they're both drunken buffoons, but in terms of talent and influence that comparison is nowhere near close.

    Trent is a talented musician and composer. Morrison didn't even play instruments. I guess that is a comparison, but Trent is Trent, not the 'new' Morrison.
