Tiered pricing for arena shows

When Pearl Jam plays amphitheatres, they usually have a seated price and a lawn price, like most other bands.

When they've played arenas in the past, it has usually been one single price point; for example $70 for the front row or the last row of the upper deck.

Even though it won't matter to us in the fanclub, it looks like they're scaling the prices at the arenas as well this time:

Kansas City $69 and $49
St. Louis $66.50 and $46.50

Although Buffalo is $69 for all seats; so maybe this this is dependant on the arena.

demand is probably less in those markets so they lower some prices on seats to ensure a sell out.

  • The whole 70 dollars or whatever price for the whole arena deal they've been doing...I just look at it as $70 for the upper level was the low price, and $70 for the first row was a really good deal...if that makes sense. Though it'd be nice to pay less if you're farther away, Every seat being the same price never bothered me, but it's really cool if they are doing tiered pricing for arenas.
