any locals know how late amtrak runs out of penn station?

    When I had to work there, I know LIRR ran after midnight. After 2am or 3am was an issue.

    Not sure about Amtrak though.

    depends on where exactly it is you are going...


    trains after midnight to jersey and l.i. are aptly named the drunk train...fun times

    as far as amtrack, not sure
    it's largely due to eddie that i liked to jump off of things as a child...

    In 2008, I left during Yellow Ledbetter and caught the 12:15 train out of Grand Central to Connecticut where I was staying. It was about 11:50 when I left, if I remember right, and still had to have time to walk to GCS.

    PJ will usually play up until midnight, so it all depends. At most you'd miss a song or two, but you'd be able to catch it - especially if it's Penn Station (obviously in MSG so not much of a walking distance).

    I am thinking of doing the same thing and going to philly. It appears to me that the latest Friday train is 11:15? And then the next one is 3:00 am. So for me. 3:00 am no doubt. Fuck it. I'll look for after party and hit the 5:45 or 6:45 am ones!! :twisted: :crazy:

    Check Amtraks web site. Even though Amtrak is in the same building, it takes some time to get out of the Garden and to Amtrak. Keep that in mind when planning your departure.
