The day a snowflake fell on a summers afternoon

While the sun bathed in blistered rays of glory
the wind told the waves
that it was not enough
to merely blow secrets through the sky
so she birthed a tornado
a whirlwind of divinity and wonder
a blizzard of transcendence
sentenced to stir human complacence.

The news soon reached the moon
who sought out the force of nature.

Cloaked, by the light of the day
the moon watched thoughfully and thoughtlessly
sick and tired of his muted existence
drained and weary
a wonder only when he was being... wonderful.
He watched
with self indulgent compassion
silent rapture and sated longing
to hold such a one
whose feet danced with the earth.

The nights were like making love with God
both drenching themselves in moonlight and stardust
the skies opening
a vision of forever
if forever were to last that long.
Then, while concrete giants fell to their knees
and flightless angels found their wings
a snowflake fell
and the tornado and the moon
had awoken the world
and fallen in love.

  • Youre really good, I'm a little in awe actually.
Nothing but thanks for those willing to give of their soul to a stranger. And I hate to say it but The Who are overated.

got a car...got some gas...oh let's get out of here-get out of here fast...
I hope you get this message but your not home...I will be there in just a minute or so...
I want to go but I want to go with you.

I've had enough, said enough, felt enough. I'm fine, still in it.
