If you are unhappy with the dates of the current US tour, then please comment/vent here. We don't need 75 different threads about it. It won't get you a date, anyway, so just bitch here and that will be that. I didn't get a date either (reminds me of high school! ;) ), and if I wanna bitch about it, I'm gonna do it here.

    Nothing man, it's just they try to spread it out. They played the west, midwest, Europe, 4 east coast dates, AUS and NZ last year. PJ hasn't come to the Northeast in 2 years. People act like they were here last week. I agree with everyone that the midwest gets screwed but there are dates in MO, IN, OH this time. I honestly don't know what there is to complain about.

    No Chicago the entire Backspacer tour. They came to Chicago in August 2009 before the album was out and only played The Fixer from Backspacer. It's always at least 5 New England shows ever tour.

    Not to be a prick, but I was at Chicago I last year and they played The Fixer, Got Some, and Supersonic.

    my intent of this thread was only:

    1) clean up the board for what is to soon become a clusterf**k of bitching about where the band isn't touring. I'm not complaining myself. I knew going in they wouldn't play near me. I'm gearing up for the 20th anniversary show!

    It seems that for the past two albums they have not done a really big tour. They do little mini tours so you never know if you shoudl travel or not.

    It's pretty easy for me now i can't afford to travel so if they don't play in Atlanta or somewhere very close i'm not seeing them :(

    Oh wow, no dates in the Northeast for TWO WHOLE YEARS? How do you guys survive? :)

    Here's my complaint: the Southwest. Pearl Jam last played Denver in 2003 (not counting 2006 when they played half a show opening for Tom Petty). They last played Phoenix in 2003. They last played Vegas in 2006. They last played Albuquerque in 2000. Ten years! Not counting ACL fest, Texas was 2003, West Texas (Lubbock) was 2000. Come the F back! We got basically one show in this region of the country (roughly 1/5 the land mass of the continental US) in the last 4 to 7 years... Salt Lake City.

    That said, I'm working on hitting Noblesville maybe.... It's gonna cost me about 4X as much as any of the above places listed, though, and more vacation days. But I'm gonna see what I can do before Monday...

    I've said this before...I love the shows as much as the next guy but when you break it down....you are talking about 2.5 hours of your life. If you don't see them this year...or next year...keep in mind you are freaking about only 2.5 hours of your life. If it is that life or death to you, just take a trip.

    i altered this quote but this is my thoughts exactly. how long must we wait in PHX? i know it gets hot in the summer but May is still pretty nice.

    i've driven to San Diego and flew to NY for Philly show (thanks again BK) in prior years but can't afford to do that everytime. about to get laid off so money is tight and getting tighter. might have to skip this one and that sux.
