DST knocks the entire shit out of my body clock ... It's just dark all the time

eh...for me, i like it. mondays and tuesdays i work later shifts. so it will be dark anyway. w-f, i'd rather wake up to the sun than utter darkness. i can deal with it being dark when i get home. then you've got the whole weekend to bask in the sun.

    I LOVE FALLING BACKWARDS!

    I love fall back!

early dark and cozy by the fire
    a morning sun before 8am

    I love falltime and sleep

then I love the new energy that is springtime
    the longer growing days
    the freshness in the air

the trouble sleeping for all the
    truths found in dreams

it is all good, each season, each time :D

I agree with all of this - but it would still happen - even if the Time was left alone !!! :D

Each season is wonderful - but we would still have the shorter days even without changing the time back and forth.

  • I agree, leave it alone. I would rather it get light later and stay light later. I hate leaving work when it is dark.

this is true but then the sun not rising until close to nine am on the shortest days would be a bummer for me
I am a morning lover big time

thank you, mickeyrat. this has been me everyday since fall back. when i am getting ready for swimming it feels like i am running late when in fact i am not even. this dark at 5 or 6 pm sucks big time. i am in bed and sound asleep way before 10pm. it is frightening how early i am in bed. but like always i am up around sunrise. i guess i am a old person. :?

  • Yeah, twilight at 4:00PM isn't right. And if it's stormy out you can change that to 3:30PM

move to Arizona...apparently they don't participate in DST.
The joy of life comes from our encounters with new experiences, and hence there is no greater joy than to have an endlessly changing horizon, for each day to have a new and different sun.
