Do you think a West Coast leg will be announced? They always seem to build hype for few weeks and announce another leg. What do you think?

I think PJ will tour in the fall. Start in Chicago and head west, but we will not hear those dates until the end of summer.
just my opinion.

There's nothing saying 'this is it', 'only shows' , etc.... just "they're playing 11 shows in May".

It seems to me like the 20th anniversary switched from Off Ramp to release of Ten. 2011 will get the granddaddy of all PJ tours, modern day at least.

If you meant West Coast as the West Coast Asian Pearl Jam Community or West Coast Southerner's from South American, then I agree. They haven't got jack shit in many, many year's and their crowd's kick ass!

Chill..I'm not complaining. They usually get everyone amped on the first leg of a tour before they announce the second. That's why I'm asking....
Plus! Why wouldn't they play the West Coast in the summer?
Oh yea, and they live here. That usually helps.
Gorge 2010!
The West Coast dates were announced last summer... Hope you didn't miss them...
I bet it's at least bigger(more show) than any PJ's recent touring. They're lotsa $$$ to make.
I hope so.
lot more money to be made with pearl jam. i'd be shocked if there wasn't another north american 10-12 date leg in 2010
Demetrios- usually you make very sound and real posts, but gotta disagree on this one. Sure, they played 10 shows, but only in 6 locations (with 4 of the shows in LA)....Unlike the east coast, traveling to see shows in the West usually involves flying, as opposed to driving. Geographically, I think to play a "proper" west coast leg, they have gotta hit more locations....unless you lived in California or Washington, you were forced to buy plane tix, hotel, yada yada....almost every date in this new East coast tour are within 12 hours of driving (with many cities only a few hours drive apart from each other). This is not the case in the West.
A thorough Southern US and West Coast tour is planned for October/November. More details to come after the Europe dates are finished.
As much as I love Soundgarden I don't think they're nearly as big a draw as PJ and simply never were so unless they're going an extensive tour of smaller venues it'll be like this post says, a handful in the US and a few elsewhere. PJ toured Europe before Backspacer and are touring the album proper now in Europe again, they'll do the same in the US no question. If you don't get a few shows later this year with Chicago, DC, Seattle, Toronto, NJ included I'll eat my shoes! Maybe even Albequerque, Memphis, Tampa, Houston, Dallas will be in the love fest too. PJ have the touring bug now!
Dublin 02 Arena - 22/6/10. Belfast Odyssey Arena - 23/6/10. London Hyde Park - 25/6/10. Berlin Wuhlheide - 30/6/10.

On one hand, the guys do show a lot of love for the West Coast (in part, I'm sure, because they're from here). And there's no doubt that they could make a nice chunk of change by touring out here again. And then there's that Bridge School thing in Northern California in October, which they haven't played in a few years and are kind of due for. It would make a good event to frame a tour around.
On the other hand, they just played a fair amount of shows here last fall (albeit it in only a handful of locations). And they don't seem to be as tireless in touring these days as they were 5-10 years ago. And I recall Eddie saying that it will "be a while" before we see them them again at the end of the final LA show in October.
