Two Missouri shows but nothing for the Twin Cities? Booooo.

    Nothing for Toronto or Montreal either, so you really can't complain.

    I would hope they'd play the Xcel like they did in 03. Fuck the Target Center. Memorable show there in 98, but it wasn't because it was the Target Center, that's for sure.

    '06 with Petty was quite good as well albeit way too short.

    Here's hoping for a 2nd leg later in the summer...

    Last PJ headline show in Minneapolis/St Paul- 2003. They opened for Tom Petty in 2006, and have only headlined one other show- 1998- since 1992.

    Last PJ headline show in Montreal- 2005. Montreal has had shows in 1998, 2000, 2003.
    Last PJ headline show in Toronto- 2009. Toronto has had shows in 1996, 1998, 2000, 2003, 2005, 2006.

    Yes, we can complain. :(

    Nothing is scheduled for the Excel Energy Center for 01 or 02 May. Lets hope they kick the tour off early in ST. Paul and head to KC next. Please leave Tom Petty at home this time!

    Actually, they're playing a show in Minneapolis on Tuesday.

    Granted, it's Target's annual company party at the Target Center, but hey, they still played here for this tour, right? Right? :D

    I am hopeful that they'll make their way to Minneapolis in the near future (hopefully later this summer).

    Also, hoping that they can play Alpine Valley and/or Chicago soon!

    For now, I am trying to talk my wife into a trip to NY in May. :-)

    +1 for Minneapolis! Great area, and would love to make the 5 hr. drive for a PJ show. Best part would be that I wouldn't have to go through Chicago to get there! I'm pullin' for a Wisconsin/Minneapolis double-header this fall!

    So they'll be in town on tuesday? I heard they were on the target list last year but didn't make it due to the tour.

    Apparently it was part of the negotiations to release Backspacer. So don't jump down their throats too hard.

    Still, it's a loooooooooooooooong way from 1995, I guess.

    Kind of surprised there's been so little talk about the Target corporate show. Granted, a lot of it will be negative perhaps, but I guess more people don't know about it vs don't care. Personally, I hope it's the latter.

    Pearl Jam has finally, thankfully grown up and realized that corporations are not inherently "evil" nor are they inherently "good." I think they've always known it—they signed a multi-album deal with Sony after all. Now the charade is over and the heads are out of the sand.

    You know what corporations are made up of? People like you and me. Sometimes good, sometimes bad, fallible people.

    Now if the rest of the fan base can follow along.

    Well, if they are going to come up to Minneapolis to play a couple songs at the Target Center for the corporate show they might as well walk across the street and play 1st Ave. I'm in....who's with me?
