It seems like the new fangled bitching about the bitching posts get posted before the old fashioned bitching posts these days. Isn't this sort of like a which came first the chicken or the egg kind of thing?

I can't really bitch about what Pearl Jam does, they can't please everyone. What I will bitch about is the high cost of living in the Northeast which made me move to the Southeast, damn property taxes and shitty economy. Everyone that gets to go enjoy and raise a toast to those less fortunate. I'll be ok to go to Ben Harper a couple of times.

I'm happy for all you Northeasterners. Jealous, but happy. :)

The only thing I would be upset about is if PJ would COME TO FLORIDA, becasue I just bought Band of Horses tickets for a solo show here a few weeks ago.
Pick up my debut novel here on amazon: Jonny Bails Floatin (in paperback) (also available on Kindle for $2.99)
  • eh, whatever. it hard to bitch when i expected this. dissappointed that they play the same places over and over, but its not like this is a new development. they've been doing it for years now.

    So by regional you mean..

When this tour ends, in 12 months or so they would have played...

Europe twice, Australia, New Zealand, West Coast, Pacific Northwest, Texas, Northeast, Midwest. New Orleans. Am I missing any?

not talking international dates, but texas? seriously? a fest?
come on look at the dates in the past eight years and compare that to 90% of other bands and tell me they arent regional. maybe throw a bone here or there every once in awhile, but lets just face it. they like the big money cities. nothing wrong with that.

I have to disagree. I wouldn't call Buffalo, Kansas City, or Columbus "big money cities." This is actually more shows than I expected, and I think it is a good mix of "smaller" places they havent been in a while, like the ones I just mentioned, with a couple of staples like NYC and Boston. As I said in another post, it seems obvious from the tweet, and the upcomng soundgarden tour, that PJ did their best to throm some sort of mini-tour together to hit some places they hadnt been in awhile, and a few they have hit recently. There is no way we could have all been please, PJ doesn't play 50 shows in America on a tour anymore. Maybe they will return to that sometime, but since the 2006 tour ended, this is how they have toured now. I am happy today, because my state gets two shows, but perhaps later this year, or next year, the people in Texas, or Georgia, or Wisconsin will be the happy ones. Thats just how it's gonna work for now.
words seem so out of place.

Mass is not that big. You can't be that far.

Can't really bitch about not getting a Chicago show, considering we've had our share in the past. I figured that if there wasn't a Chicago show I had a good reason to travel to Seattle for a show, but no Seattle show either. I guess Noblesville is only 3 hours away, so that's not too bad. :?

you are right, they cannot make everyone happy, but you need to remember that they play big cities on the east coast or west coast seemingly every year, and throw a bone to some small cities along the way. Seems like those that bitch about people bitching probably live in the area, or near the areas that PJ play more often than not. Seems like they never miss boston or NYC . . . (I wouldn't either)
that being said I am lucky enough to be able to afford to go see them, it just would be nice to not have to travel so god damn far all the time. But the boots, in my opinion, make up for it.

who cares, it is just a band . . . oh wait nevermind
