    hey all...book either the hilton or the holiday inn express...they are on opposite sides of the xl center but are both only 1.5 blocks away from the venue. you all can haggle on the price, but you'll be able to hit the bars after the show and then stumble back to your respective hotels. hope this helps.

    this show is gonna KICK ASS!! the meadows (or dodge) is like my favorite place in the world and i always look forward to them playing there. i LOOOVE amphitheaters. HOWEVER, this will be a new area in hartford for pj to play. they've never been there before. the results? a fucking kick ass show. i mean they always kick ass, and maybe i'm not making much sense, but despite me liking the dodge more i think this show is gonna be a different hartford flavor and it is going to be super awesome!

    Sssshhhh!!! Don't hype up the show too much. Just remember 2008. I can guarantee you, though, it's going to be awesome at the XL!

    I hear ya, only 2 hours 50 minutes door to door for me.

    Loves me the PJ though and because of work travel schedule couldnt make the MSG dates.

    A good half hour drive for me...as long as I don't get that 84 traffic. Although it is on Saturday this time, so I might be lucky.

    about a 20 minute drive for me. it's always nice when they play this close. i wish they'd come back to the springfield civic center in MA. only 5min from my house and the site of the first time i saw them in '94. someday i hope.
