I was very impressed that the Band of Horses guy threw his tambourine something like 35 rows deep. Usually trophies like that go to the people up close. He chucked that thing as far as it would go.
That was pretty awesome. I'll agree on that.

Unreal that the band just went right into porch after ATAL. No time to even react.

Whenever they play ATAL on PJ Radio, it ALWAYS segues right into Porch
    They belong together

 When reading that, I thought of Ed on Unplugged singing, "We belong together".

Also, I'm glad we got the "first" performance of "Speed of Sound". Made me love the song after hearing it at the show.

Speed of Sound was great that night. The whole first encore was so good.

The last PJ show for me. Thought about it when I looked at the poster earlier.
This show, another show, a show here and a show there.

This show reignited my love for the band. What more could u ever ask for? I always really liked them, but after 2010 in hartford i started to listen to more songs on a deeper level, something i couldnt really do as a 13/14 year old fan.

That was a great day. Drove 1.5 hours to Hartford with FenwayFaithful, partied it up at the Black Bear Saloon for a few hours, met some cool peeps, and saw a fuckin amazing concert.

NYC, Philly, and Boston get some great shows but I feel they save something special for Hartford. I will never miss PJ in Hartford if I can help it.

THIS. Thanks to whoever it was that rebumped this thread! Those three songs are ALWAYS played together by me. I would have totally forgotten to play this boot today if it wasn't for this thread.

The only thing I wish were different about that perfect three song setup is the story about the UConn women's basketball team, it's just in the way of the OTOTO story and those perfect three songs!!

I barely made this show too, long story about delayed flight in Dallas, got into Philly at 3 ish AM slept in the airport until 6 flew into Albany NY where my parents lived took a two hour nap and then headed for Hartford.

Waited around the venue for the person sharing my tix just made it in (the dude won the lottery, but shared with his buddy instead) and then I had to take a big hit on my extra ticket. Did, get hooked up by a couple in front of me and we got the last two posters in the venue!

But I did meet Adam (get_right) from NYC and we shared 24th row center and it was an awesome show! First of all five shows the next week. Amazing time!

Because the band loves us. Really, the only "down" show by the band in Hartford is 2006. That was just an average show.

That was the last show I saw, and it was epic. I can't believe it was two years ago either. Looking forward to the next Hartford show however, cause the band always takes it up a notch in CT for some reason!
