Elton and Joel cancelled and hear that 2 more dates are scheduled. Who will play at Wrigley this year?

    That would be awesome to se PJ there. At least I could get decent tickets unlike the cubs

    That would be absolutely phenomenal but I think highly unlikely.....but I hope it happens...I would take Soldier Field as well..or any Chicago area venue for that matter.

    That would be awesome! My husband's boss lives in the boundary of the Wrigley neighborhood association, and they set aside tickets for the association to all concerts as part of the deal they have with them to have concerts at Wrigley, so I'd have an IN! He knows I'm a huge PJ fan, and he wouldn't go - so I'm sure he'd give us the tickets.

    Eddie said the last time he was here (when he sang the 7th inning stretch) that he didn't think they'd ever play Wrigley because that would mean the Cubs would be out of town and he wouldn't be able to go to a game... since the Cubs are his favorite team and all.

    That said. Of course Wrigley would be awesome.... it'd be a 100 yard walk for me. :)

    I think those shows at Wrigley in Sept are going to be DMB or Phish. Although it would be pretty sweet to see PJ only a couple miles from my place.

    September 17-18 are all but confirmed as DMB. The July date could be anyone. Rumor has it there was also a June date approved, but I find it hard to believe the Wrigleyville neighbors association would allow 4 concerts in a year (they only allow 2, any more would need approval-which has already been doen for the July and September dates)

    This could just be me..But, I just don't see the big point of everyone wanting pearl jam to play Fenway or Wrigley...Those baseball stadiums aren't setup for concerts..I would find it hard to believe the sound quality would be all that great....I guess maybe it just me..

    I hear that! I'd rather have PJ play Alpine Valley. Perfect music venue, especially from the pavilion
