PJ with string quartet on SNL

edited March 2010 in The Porch
Don't know if this has been posted yet, but caught a tweet from @lorenzaponce saying she was rehearsing with PJ for SNL with string quartet. Now-- back to waiting for the Indy show confirmation!

I'd better not let my ten-year-old see this. He LOVES "Bugs." He's pretty fond of "Just Breathe," too, but he's crazy about "Bugs."

Interesting that she's rehearsing more than one song.

Lame, would much rather see them do a rocker, like the mellow tunes with the orchestra but I'd just rather see them rock SNL

Sorry, but I have to agree with i am a target. Ed's seen too much of Springsteen doing that solo mumbly acoustic sentimentality.
Besides, it says PEARL JAM is playing on SNL, not Ed Vedder. I hate watching those guys stand around bored while Ed's doing his solo thing. I want some rock and roll..

that's fine. it's just my opinion. i happen to find ed's acoustic songwriting bland. he wants to be neil young or bruce sprinsteen but he isn't even close. just breathe and the end absolutely KILL the flow of backspacer as well as the energy of a live set. i went to use the bathroom both nights of the seattle shows when ed played those songs.
