SO.....this is for the gems out, hidden within live shows that we all need to own!

JUST LIST WHAT YOU KNOW AND KEEP IT GOING SO WE CAN ALL BE EDUMACATED. JUST REMEMBER THAT THERE ARE SOME PEOPLE OUT THERE THAT DONT OWN A LIVE VERSION OF ANYTHING!!!!!!!! C'MON, FALL IN.


1. Patriot - Cleveland OH....April 25th 2003.
2. Daughter - Berlin 2000. Eddie getting the crowd to repeat his Chants...amazing.
3. Daughter - Gorge I 2006 with Its Okay.
4. Daughter - Jones Beach 2000 - original Its Okay tag.
5. Gone - Atlantic City, October 1, 2005. Ed Solo, first time ever played, no overproduced backing by the band......
6. MTV Unplugged Black - Eddie explodes into one verse with so much emotion.....gotta hear it.
7. Betterman - San Diego, CA June 2003. Open show with Betterman and crowd sings at the first verse for Eddie.
8. Betterman San Francisco, june 2000 - Eddie start song with Romanza picking, then goes into the song...song ends with Save it for Later Tag....

    I'm not home right now and I can't think of anything to add off the top of my head, but I love the way the original post lists the song. Great job! All too often these threads became laundry lists of people strictly listing song title / city / year. Very nice to have a little teaser description to make me wanna go check some of those out.

    And to all future posts, please, if you have a little info you wanna tag on to your personal fav's, feel free!

    Okay, I got one;

    Betterman, Seattle 2 - 2000 --- Eddie's tag is ridiculous, really passionate improv'd lyrics. I have never heard him sing that tag on any other boot. It's perfect.

    Actually for the Daughter/Its Okay pick, I would recommend the one from Virginia Beach 2000. This is the first show after Roskilde and its a very emotional version (even more so than Jones Beach). That whole boot is really emotional charged for obvious reasons.

    I have heard a LOT of live versions of this song... but this is by far the best.. the "HEY HEY HEY HEY...." chant and then the ROAR of applause when the guitar kicks in gives me chills... if anyone wants to check this version out pm me...

    Marsielle 06 is also a very good version

    My hands-down all-time favorite version of Alive:

    Boston II 7/3/03 - Ed lets the crowd take the chorus just before the solo. He also does the "You, you're still alive" part right before the solo, but this one is different than all the ones from this past year. There is no "yeah, yeah, yeah" right before the solo. Just "You're still alive. We all still alive!!!" - then right into the solo with the crowd just roaring. They are so loud. And it's a solo that Mike absolutely kills by the way. Just nails it.

    Just soaring. That is the only word I can find to describe this version. Gives me goosebumps every time.
