The Smashing Pumpkins are looking for a new bassist and keyboardist. They're doing open auditions, e-mail <!-- e --><a href="mailto:pumpkinsbass@gmail.com">pumpkinsbass@gmail.com</a><!-- e --> and <!-- e --><a href="mailto:pumpkinskeys@gmail.com">pumpkinskeys@gmail.com</a><!-- e --> by March 31st. I decided to make a list of likely candidates for the band, who do you guys think should play bass for the Billy Corgan Band/SP?

    Another bassist? What a shock. ;) The pattern seems to be rather hot females when it comes to bassists for SP. They don't tend to stick around though.

    "Pete Wentz, former Fall Out Boy bassist- Billy could finally get the younger demographic that he’s craved for nearly a decade. Also with Corgan/Jessica Simpson possibly being together, and Wentz being married to Ashlee Simpson, it’d be a match made in heaven! Maybe Jessica and Ashlee could doing backing vocals and dance on Smashing Pumpkins tours!"
