Hey everybody,
I am thinking about re-doing my pedalboard, might even make a brand new one. Anyways, I was looking
at power supplies and I stumbled across this guy...

...anybody out there have one or know somebody who does? If so, what is it like? Good? Bad? Excellent? Just curious.
As always, thanks for reading.

Wouldn't be any good for you xtreme
i've never used one personally but i have heard good things about it. the only potential promlem for me that i would see is only one AC jack. some of the older pedals like the rotosphere use an AC plug, and its a massive plug at that, so there is no way that the power brick could sit on the board and still have a "wall wart" plug plugged in.
ever think about a powered pedal board like a furman or something?
"Well, you tell him that I don't talk to suckas."
I had about 3 or 4 1 Spot daisy chains at one time on my board. I like 1Spots. That powerbrick isn't too bad from what I've heard, though

I can say that it cut the noise of my system by more than half, having transformer-isolated outputs and power conditioning. I currently power 9 pedals with mine (I power two TS-9's with a "Y" cable).
I can tell you that a wall-wart will fit upside-down, so that shouldn't be an issue. If you have multiple pedals needing an AC outlet, you'll probably want a power strip anyways; if it was me, I would hide a power strip on the board and then plug the PP2 into that.
Also, as a guy who works live sound and sees a lot of pedalboards up close, I know that the Voodoo Labs units outnumber any other pedal power system hands down, at least with touring bands. In cases where people have a lot more than 8 pedals, I've even seen pedalboards with more than one PP2.
There are cheaper systems, and systems with more outputs, but I don't think there's a higher-quality pedal power system, short of having Pete Cornish build your pedalboard.

Its essensially 1 adaptor that can be daisy chained for up to 20 pedals. I dont gig professionally so I can't attest to it's road worthiness but it is an alternative for those on a budget. I power 7 pedals with mine with no issues.
Cost me 50 bucks here in Canada.
Cheers
That being said, it doesn't matter what unit you are using if wallwarts are close to your signal chain. They tend introduce a lot of noise if they are close to you pedals / cables. Do an experiment with an extentsion cord to test them out on your rig...
