Hey guys, I'm only just starting to get into NBA as a few games are now appearing on how TV down here.

And being Australian, I take a keen interest in Andrew Bogut.

The commentators rave about him, in yesterdays game against the Celtics they were saying how he should of been an All star, and there is no centre better than him at the moment.

Is he really this good?

    he is playing well right now - and his team is overachieving - but there are better centers - like Dwight Howard. I would say he is finally starting to play up to his potential.

    UH....I have never heard of him and I watch the NBA (albeit a Western team) at least semi-regularly. I'm gonna guess your commentators might be biased... :D

    He plays for the Bucks and ah, he was only the #1 pick a couple years ago. I haven't watched enough NBA this year to know how good he has been though,

    he's not bad...not a super star, but a good center that can shoot the ball.

    i'd say he's a top 5 center in the NBA, but right now, there arn't many good ones to begin with.

    Your on the west coast so that explains why you haven't heard of him. :)


    He is finally starting to play the way he should play. I've never really been a Bucks fan cause they always suck. But they maybe are starting to get better and could make a run in a couple of years. Friend of mine was at the game last nite and it was playoff type of game.

    They used to be worse. lol

    He likes Milwaukee from what I hear.

    Donates alot of money and time to basketball camps for kids and stuff. He's a good guy.

    Bogut is a nice bloke and against living that rich and famous lifestyle.
    He is a down to earth bloke and from the people I know in Melbourne that knew his as a kid/teen he's a great person.
    And he is Croatian :D

    All American commentators like Reggie Miller all those guys on TNT stuff like that.
