Yep. This show was amazing. And I kept remember thinking at the time what a rare set we were seeing. This show mixed a lot of different elements of originals and covers rarely seen, especially all together. What a great show. Don't forget "Mother" w/Sleater Kinney beforehand too. Awesome.

My vote is for October 30, 2009 too. Amazing setlist and it was the perfect setup for the final night. The guys put it ALL out there and I really don't understand how they pulled the 31st out except for pure adrenaline. IMO they were as high as we all were on life, good people, good times, and great music. Noone wanted this time to end. It's the closest to spiritual nirvana as I've been in 37 years attending thousands of concerts and about 50 PJ shows ;) .

:lol: No it's this year Dimitri so you better start paddling NOW. ;) I'm driving the RV and picking up the crew along the way to the Big BBQ and Perl Jem show in either BL or UR's backyard - not sure that's been settled yet. Anyhow, better row that boat and make it fast dude.

:lol: Actually my son was VERY upset it was not played that night and not until the next night. McCready's guitar was smoking this entire night without EF. Maybe this night was a hard core PJ old soul show and that's why it blew so many of the long time fans completely away. There are so many good shows over the years so I guess it's all in what we've experienced that make them the 'best'.
