i think the answer is no but we shall see how high (or low) ticket prices will be.

i really think they are aware of the difficult times people are feeling across the country and will adjust their prices to suit the problem. am i being naive?

I think prices will be more than last year. I think I paid $68 for a ticket in 08 and $74 in 09. Probably will be $80 or above this time around. I guess we will find out Thursday.

It depends where they play. If they play MSG expect tix for that show to be 10-12 bucks a ticket more than any other show. But on the whole, expect tix to be similar to last year - probably about 5 bucks more a ticket.

the difficult times didn't just begin. the 08 and 09 ticket prices weren't any cheaper, and I'm not expecting these to be either.

    we shall see..
i'm more a fan of popular bands.. like the bee-gees, pearl jam

    yes

PJ is not doing a ton of shows
prices will be the same if not higher than 09

and by doing smaller tours the demand for each show increases (at least in theory)

their choices of location will not be random

they will be places they know they can sell out at their prices

this might explain the reason why they avoid the south.

Tickets were $186 a pair for the NZ shows last year. That was just a bit more expensive than local bought tickets, which I put down to international relations. Still, pretty reasonable though. Would that be considered expensive in the US?
