ummm ok...if thats how you feel about it. dont be disappointed when we can buy for as many shows as we want--the same system thats been in place for every tour since 2003--with the exception of the vfc shows because they were sold through ticketmaster.
I'm for the limit of one show, you can still buy tickets outside the ten club and go to as many shows as you want. I'm sure the guys don't mind seeing different faces up front.
In 1996, this ensured that more TC members had access to their local shows, during the height of PJ's popularity.
In 2010, they are no longer at the height of their popularity, and since concerts are probably their biggest revenue stream, they want to sell as many tickets as possible as easily as possible.
Their more recent system does make it more helpful to those that want to plan to see lots of shows, but if you happen to live in a major market like DC or NYC, you are now competing with people around the world for your "hometown" show and can easily get shut out of TC tickets.

in terms of going to as many shows as you can afford; it would be nice if they realized that there is a recession with regard to their ticket pricing this time around.

Cheaper tickets would only happen if they lower their performance price to the promoter. I really doubt it will happen.

So how does the 10C ticket distribution work anyway? I understand that the better numbers will get tickets but if your number matters (my won't since it's terrible) then is it safe to assume that WHEN you attempt to buy them is meaningless? I.e. do you just log in to 10C at the prescribed time, press "Buy Tickets", and then find out at some later point if you actually got tickets such that WHEN you logged in has no impact?

10c ticket sales go smooth as silk...you'll know you have them as soon as you purchase them. only sometimes it takes an hour to even see the buy button.

that I can get on board with. Lower ticket prices would be nice.
The current system is great. I can get 10C tickets to as many shows as I can afford. If I have a low number I'm happy. If I have a high number I still have a lottery shot at rows 1-2 or 9-10. Beats standing in line all day for better seats like I did back in 2003.

Or you have them in your basket and when you go to checkout, the system removes them, and you can't get them back and you get shut out. That's happened to me too.

It is pretty stressful- you'll get your aerobic exercise for the day
and maybe even that robot saying something like what was it?" you popped my head off" i forget but its not a good thing. But then if you are lucky you'll have your tickets and be filled with so much love for the 10C you won't be able to stand it. I really love the 10C just thinking about it
I hope I can go to many many shows this time
