Jerry is great. Extremely heavy show

new singer is surprisingly very good.
They played nutshell dedicated to Layne of course.

We die young was classic. Jerry smokes more cigarettes than Eddie hands down.

All in all nice to see Jerry playing AIC songs again and mist importantly shreading the guitar to pieces.

I saw them on their first night in Atlanta and it rocked.

Jerry mentioned that night he was not feeling well at all. Although you could not tell because everything sounded great.

Last night show was off the hook!!! The intensity from the the band was felt and we gave it right back to them. Was up front. Hope I get lucky again today. They played Sickman....Wow, what a gem! The new songs kicked some Ass. All worth seeing. 8-)

They cancelled a SLC show here in 2006 because of that and have yet to come back and play. We're all pretty pissed about it.

  • Saw them last month in Seattle after waiting many many years for the day. Front row. Got the setlist and Jerry's pick. Was a died-and-born-again night for me. I'm so glad they're playing now. I would have never imagined they would reunite after Layne's death but I have to hand it to William DuVall. He's one hell of a singer. For some reason though, it doesn't feel like he's the front-man. The bandleader is still Jerry, which is great. I do wish Mike Starr was still playing though. I heard he was a wicked monster on the bass.

    God-damn, I loved that night.

Fucking amazing time last night. Crowd was doing some heavy moshing and alota crowd surfers. Band totally enjoyed it and you could tell they were feeding off of us. I got a jerry guitar pick and a will guitar pick and sean to sign my ticket. I miss layne a lot and all but will and jerry are amazing together. I'd go see them again for sure.

They were far from bad but far from great.

I was kind like meh when i saw them. Depends on if you have better things to do before hand. If you missed them it would not be the end of the world but if you sat through them you would not be begging for an ice pick to stab your ear lobes out

Went to the show last night in philly. They seemed to be very tight on their songs. Played for an hour and a half. My videos didn't turn out too well. The sound was all distorted, not sure why. It was a new camera, maybe i was near a speaker? Probably better I didn't get too much on video cuz one of the security guys said no videotaping just pics. Here are some pics

I was at the Tower show Saturday and it was a great show. I was fortunate enough to be next to the "shirtless guy" at the front of the balcony that the drummer pointed out  , those guys were a mess, but were harmless. I thought the sound was muddy for some of the show, especially the vocals, not sure if it was because I was in the balcony or they just couldn't get the mix right. For the large shoes that Layne left behind I think William Duvall does a fine job trying to fill them. The setlist was a nice mix of old and new material in my opinion, as I like both.

As for the opener, I ended up hanging out in the lobby with a friend and people watched, what I looked up on youtube didn't do much for me.

Saw them last night in Toronto...as many otehrs have said, great show and very heavy...Duvall does a very admirable job...sings similar to Layne when necessary as they couldn't have someone sing it differently (imagine one of the old songs sung by someone with an entirely different voice, it wouldn't work) He also really puts his own mark on the new stuff..Jerry is a God as usual...even some very funny comments by Mike about some dick who threw a glow stick on stage...great sound and great show all around
