Aaron Lewis - Release Cover (Mohegan 2008) mp3

Enjoy. This is an absolutely amazing cover of Pearl Jam's Release by Aaron Lewis. If you've never seen Aaron solo/acoustic, make it a point to go next time he's around. He is incredible on his own and usually busts out a PJ song. Also look for his solo cd/dvd later this year...not sure when though.

As hard core PJ fan as I am, I can admit that Aaron sings the sh*t outta "Black" (reallly really good!)
He's a self-admitted fan of all the bands he covers, so where is the problem?
... also does amazing versions of Tool's "Sober", Pink Floyd's "Comfortably numb" and AIC "Nutshell"...
Flame away... he's awesome and has the balls to take these songs on..!

He slows it down. Overall, it's not too bad. Aaron has a good voice, and yes, he is enjoyable to listen to acoustically.

Agreed. I think he has a good voice and covers these songs well. I bet on the Who message board or the Neil Young message board, their fans are saying, "Fuck that Eddie Vedder guy. Who the fuck does that talentless fuck think he is."

Here's the youtube link to the release cover. Anyone who dosen't like that cover is crazy. I don't care if the lead singer of my least favorite band in the world covers a PJ song if he does it proper. If you say it sucked your a liar, absoutely awesome cover good find.
Pretty good but a bit slow ..
i actually have this show
his cover of black is meh. i love his cover of nutshell alot.
Sammi: Wanna just break up?
(he doesnt control the crowd very well which shortens the time he actually performs and this last time he didnt even play an encore (and the crowd def deserved one and was show'n the love all night))
